The Truth

A lot of times in life we remain superficial because we are afraid of confrontation. Whenever an issue pops up we gloss over it in order to preserve a false sense of peace.

You have to care enough to speak the truth to a family member or friend. I am not saying you have to be rude and frankness is not a license to say anything you want, whenever and wherever you want.  A lot of times it’s not what you say but how you say it. The Bible says “Never use harsh words when you correct an older man, but talk to him as if he were your father. Talk to younger men as if they were your brothers, older women as if they were your mothers, and younger woman as if they were your sisters.

Telling the truth/giving an honest answer is a sign of true friendship.

Always speak the truth in love
